Who We Are

Paterson Valley Swim Club is a small, volunteer-run club that has provided fun, fitness, and community connection for local families for more than four decades.

Our goal is to create a supportive and inclusive environment where everyone feels welcome — whether you’re learning to swim, racing regularly, or cheering from the sidelines.

What is Swim Club?

Swim clubs are not-for-profit organisations run by volunteers (usually parents of swimmers).

Each week, clubs organise race nights where swimmers can:

  • Compete against others of similar ability

  • Improve confidence and technique

  • Enjoy swimming in a relaxed, encouraging environment

Paterson Valley Swim Club meets at Tocal College Pool every Tuesday at 5:00pm.

(Please refer to the season schedule for specific dates.)

Pool Pass Requirment

To register with the swim club, families must hold a Tocal College Pool Pass.

  • Pool passes are available only to families living within the local community

  • Eligibility is determined by Tocal College

  • Please refer to the Season Information page for eligibility

Who Can Join?

We encourage the whole family to get involved.

  • No minimum age

  • Beginners are encouraged — our entry level is swimming 12.5 metres, with parent support or swimming aids welcome

  • We’re all about giving it a go, at your own pace

We also offer a Masters swim category, which many parents participate in — and the kids love seeing mum or dad jump in too!
